Goose Live Events achieves FIA Environmental Accreditation for Regent Street Motor Show

Goose Live Events has announced it has achieved FIA Environmental Accreditation for its managed event, the Regent Street Motor Show in London. The FIA Institute (for Motor Sport Safety and Sustainability) has recognised the annual motor show event, which is managed and promoted by Goose Live Events on behalf of the Royal Automobile Club, as meeting the strict criteria for consistent environmental management and sustainability.

Having been one of the first agencies in the world to be awarded ‘Progress towards Excellence’ against the FIA’s Environmental Accreditation Programme earlier this year, Goose Live Events now seeks to achieve the accreditation across its portfolio of automotive industry events.

The Regent Street Motor show, taking place on Saturday 31st October 2015, attracts 400,000 visitors to celebrate veteran, classic and contemporary vehicles including icons of the big screen with live demos and test-driver opportunities.

The FIA Institute’s Sustainability programme, aimed at helping motor sport stakeholders worldwide measure and enhance their environmental performance, will give recognition to the Regent Street Motor Show for its efforts to produce a more sustainable event.

Sam Trevenna, Director of Goose Live Events, comments: “Gaining the FIA Accreditation as an agency for this event was a huge achievement for us. Being a part of the automotive and motorsport events industry, we want to be as considerate as possible and are committed to running and producing sustainable events.”
