The Challenge

Launch the new Bentley flagship model, the Mulsanne, to 12 back-to-back groups of 12 automotive journalists from around the globe, at a boutique, private venue close to Edinburgh, Scotland.

The Goose Solution

Goose recommended the property due to its style, ambience and beautiful setting – reflecting the Bentley philosophy of ‘refined and comfortable’. The small groups ensured an exclusive atmosphere -synonymous with the car positioning.

Two programmes were created to allow those travelling long haul to adjust to the time zone. Goose supported the Bentley PR & Live Events team with logistics support, creating a bespoke online registration tool for the guests and ee liaised directly with the journalists to make all their travel arrangements. Onsite, we provided airport meet and greet staff and airport transfers in either a Mulsanne or Continental Flying Spur as well as overall event management support for the entire programme.

Despite being confronted by an Icelandic Volcanic Ash Cloud and a British Airways strike, which severely disrupted flights, Goose stood up these extreme challenges head on rebooking flights, putting on additional transport facilities, and keeping everyone fully informed to ensure the safe arrival of all guests.

Results

Despite the travel disruptions, the Bentley brand detail remained distinguished throughout the event.

The Mulsanne was very well received by all of the journalists which resulted in very positive coverage across the world, in a variety of mediums from magazine covers to 4 page spreads and online reviews.
